OZ'S...

Creation for 5 dancers

Show for all audiences - duration 30 minutes

The age of the Sun King was a time of festivity and debauchery.

OZ'S is a jumble of all the arbitrary conveniences of the Sun King's court. Some of Molière's texts were used as food for thought in the choice of scenes for this ballet-theater.

The paradox between light-hearted soirees and the heaviness of court protocol lends an absurd dimension to romantic relationships.

The choreographer used the mannerism and ridiculousness of decorum in love relationships to depict a society based solely on appearances and not on deep human relationships.
