ROMUALD...

Creation for 5 dancers

Show for all audiences - Duration 1 hour

Romuald is interested in the man hidden behind his make-up, the man in his trailer, the man frozen in front of his mirror. In our society, we respond to ethics, morals, rules and ideologies.

The clown, on the other hand, defies all prohibitions, he can allow himself anything; is he any freer or happier as a result? What does he see when he takes off his make-up? Does he rediscover his inner self? Is it enough to dress differently to become someone else; don't invisible traces remain?

We all have our clown. He's the one who initiates the imbalance, the disorder that we try to control on a daily basis. If this character can be found in every society, it's perhaps because he brings us back to deep-seated questions through fundamental reflexes: laughter or tears.

Romuald offers a delicate, poetic vision of this red-nosed, multi-faceted man with a pure soul.
